STIBA Malang (College of Foreign Languages and Letters) was founded in on October 29, 1971 by Drs. JBAF. Mayor Polak, Prof. F.Patty, MA and Hartono Ruslan, DES as ABA. Since 1987, this Academy has become STIBA Malang offering S1 (undergraduate) Program on English Literature and two Diploma Programs (D3) namely Japanese and English.
Ever since the first time, this campus has gained a well-known reputation as an institution which specializes on the study of foreign languages such as English, Japanese, Chinese, Dutch, Arabic, and German whether as the major study or Second Languages. It has successfully established itself as the center of language and literary studies in Indonesia which once led it to receive the accreditation status B from Ministry of Education in 2002.
STIBA MALANG has produced thousands of graduates who have been working in various fields such as government officials, lecturers, teachers, interpreters, company executives, businessman, ministry of foreign affairs staffs, researchers and many others. Due to its reputation, STIBA Malang has won trusts from public, national and local government, companies, and other institutions in proving many kinds of training and services.
